Blueberry Lemonade Wine Spritzer
Blueberry Lemonade Wine Spritzer is a delicious drink for Spring and Summer festivities that has a hint of red wine too.

A very multi-purpose cocktail…both red wine and vodka!! Not just a beautiful color but the perfect blend of sweet, sour, fruiting and fizzy; we loved this Blueberry Lemonade Wine Spritzer.
I’ve actually made this as a mocktail too. Going from Mocktail to Cocktail is easy enough; make a plain simple syrup and nix the vodka…and you’ve got a sweet and tangy Blueberry Lemonade Spritzer. I make two pitchers, one for adults and one sans booze for the kids.
The kids who used to come over with their parents and get juice boxes when they were five are all sixteen now and it’s time to give them a more adult take so I made a beverage to serve everyone; less delineation between adults and kids who are on their way to adulthood.
It’s not that different from homemade lemonade. Instead of a simple syrup made with water and sugar, this one is made with blueberry juice, wine, and sugar. The two are warmed until the berries pop and the juice further expressed by pressing the soft berries through a sieve.
After that it’s simply adding the syrup to fresh squeezed lemon juice and some sparkling water and voila…a Blueberry Lemonade Wine Spritzer!

In Colorado, Spring is iffy…one day it’s 75° and the next day it’s a blizzard, so I felt blessed that I could sneak in a quick get together on a nice day last weekend…honestly there is snow outside again now!
I love having neighbors over on my deck; I’m the only one with a covered porch and I’ve included a few things to make it more private too; like a privacy fence on the deck between my porch and the neighbors yard.
Which protects my bar. A bar I won from BLAKE SHELTON! Yep Blake did a contest, and doggone it, my New England Bloody Mary won! I’m glad I had the room because it is so perfect for summer entertaining! Blake like a simple vodka and soda…I need more so this is my version of a vodka and soda. With blueberries, lemonade and wine. 🙂

These were true winners…great taste AND a great outdoor bar; it took a bit but it arrived early enough for me to use all summer! Blake even autographed his logo on the back wall of the lid. Now when is he coming over for a drink?

Try these Blueberry Lemonade Wine Spritzers for your family or a large gathering…they are truly perfect for a crowd!

do you have a mocktail version of this?
I don’t have something specific to this cocktail but the truth is that any cocktail that you’re adding vodka to is pretty easy to modify. Add a little bit more of the blueberry lemonade mixture and also a little bit more of the sparkling water and that should be good!
I love blueberry so much. The drink recipe is great. suitable for light parties.
This cocktail sounds like a perfect start to the summer. Summers in Colorado are our favorite time of year and this will go nicely. Thanks for the recipe!
