Strawberry Lemonade Margarita

Combining the ease of lemonade concentrate with fresh strawberries, lime juice, and tequila for this Strawberry Lemonade Margarita makes for a delicious summer cocktail that is so easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries stems removed (or equal amount frozen strawberries, partially thawed)
  • 12 ounces frozen lemonade thawed
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 ½ cups Tequila
  • ½ cup orange liqueur
  • 2 limes juiced

For the Rim

  • Salt/Sugar Mix half kosher salt and half sugar; prefer cake decorating sugar

Instructions

  • Combine the strawberries, lemonade, and water in a blender and process until smooth. Add tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice and stir to mix thoroughly. Taste for sweetness; add more lime juice if necessary.
  • Moisten the rim of your glasses with a lime wedge and dip into salt/sugar combination. Fill glasses with ice and pour in the strawberry lemonade margarita mixture.
  • Garnish with a whole strawberry and a lime wedge.

Notes

I like to combine lemonade and limeade in my original fresh margarita, do the same here if you choose.
