  • ¾ ounce fresh lime juice
  • ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ½ ounces Orange Liqueur
  • 4 teaspoons orange marmalade
  • ½ ounce Agave syrup 1 part agave nectar and 1 part water or make a simple syrup with 1 part sugar and 1 part water heated just until the sugar dissolves; cool.
  • Orange slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Put all of the ingredients except the orange slices into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until ice cold and strain into an ice filled rocks glass.
  • Garnish with an orange slice.

Notes

The original recipe that I loved used 3 1/2 oz tequila for 2 cocktails. I heard it seemed a bit too strong so I've revised it to 3 oz because it's easier to add a bit more than take away that same bit!
I loved it with the original amount but I did use a good aged tequila so test a bit so find the perfect mix for you.
