Ingredients
½cupbuttermelted (divided)
1tablespoonmolasses
¼cuphoney
¼cupmaple syrup
1teaspooncinnamon
3cupsall-purpose flour
½teaspoonsalt
1tablespoonbaking powder
12ouncesdark beerI used Nitro Milk Stout
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F.
Pour half of the butter into a 9X5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine molasses, honey, syrup and cinnamon and stir to combine.
Combine flour, salt and baking powder and whisk to combine. Add to bowl with moist ingredients and mix just until blended. Add the beer and stir to combine.
Turn the batter out into prepared pan and smooth the top lightly.
Pour the remainder of the butter over the top of the mixture in the loaf pan.
Bake for 40 minutes or until top has risen and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow bread to cool in pan for 15 minutes; remove it from pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.Cut with a serrated knife.
Great with butter and jam or honey or cream cheese.
