Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces Casamigos Blanco Tequila
  • ¾ ounce Fresh Lime Juice
  • ¼ ounce Fresh Orange Juice
  • ounce Agave Nectar
  • ounce Orange Liqueur

For Salt/Sugar Rim

  • ¼ cup coarse salt
  • ¼ cup sugar

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake vigorously for 10 count.
  • Pour into a rocks glass with or without salt/sugar rim. Garnish with lime.

Notes

The suggestion is to serve with or without a salted rim but I have come to love a rim that is finished with a combination of half coarse salt and half sugar.
I've actually got several mixtures and the one I used today is a combination of salt, sugar and orange rind. If you grate rind into salt and let it dry, it will actually preserve the color a bit so it's more of a visual touch than anything. Still it's personal preference; do what you want!
