Beer, Butter and Garlic Chicken Basting Sauce

A simple combination of ingredients that makes for the easiest and best basting sauce!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter 8 ounces
  • 12 ounces beer
  • 8 ounces water
  • ¼ cup parsley
  • Seasoned pepper I used lemon pepper but plain is fine too
  • Garlic Salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and warm over medium heat until the butter has melted. Using a pastry brush, brush on chicken as it cooks on the grill, repeating every couple of minutes.
  • I used boneless thighs and grilled them for 15-20 minutes on medium heat. You can also use this for whole chickens or other packaged chicken parts. Cook accordingly.
