1Container of Marshsmallow Fluffapproximately 7 oz
8cupsChocolate Krispies cereal
1cupChocolate Mint Chips
For the Frosting
1and 1/2 Cups powdered sugar
2oz.White chocolatemelted (use microwave, melt on low cycle for a minute, more if needed.
Coat the inside of a 13X9" pan with butter or cooking spray. Place a piece of parchment paper across the length of the pan, adding enough inches to create an overhang; this will make removing the treats easier. Butter or spray the parchment.
Melt the butter in a large pan on the stove on medium heat. Once melted, add the marshmallow fluff and marshmallows and stir constantly until softened and smooth.
Add the Chocolate Rice Krispies and the Chocolate Mint Chips at one time and stir until the cereal is well coated. The chips will melt into the mixture as it is stirred.
Pour into the prepared pan and push to spread and fill the entire pan.
To Make the Frosting
Mix the butter until smooth, gradually add the powdered sugar alternately with the 2 Tablespoons of milk until smooth.
Add the vanilla and melted chocolate and mix well. If too thick for drizzling, continue to add a bit of milk until you get the right consistency. Let cool completely and once cool, use the parchment to help lift the treats out of the pan and place on a flat surface.
Using a frosting bag or Ziploc bag, fill with frosting and cut the corner of the bag; drizzle over the pan of Rice Krispie Treats. Decorate with crushed candy canes and green cake decorating sugar.
Cut into individual portions. 24-36 pieces depending on the size you want.
You can use all Fluff without the additional marshmallows or use a regular size bag of marshmallows instead of the Fluff.
