Sparkling Strawberry Sorbet Cocktail

One of my favorite summer combinations; this is such a cold, refreshing treat. Sparkling Strawberry Sorbet Cocktail combines strawberry sherbet with chilled sparkling wine and it's so perfect!

For the Strawberry Sorbet:

  • 3 cups strawberries hulls removed
  • 4-6 oz simple syrup to taste
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tbsp Limoncello optional

To Make the Cocktail:

  • 1 750 ml bottle Moscato or Prosecco or even Pinot Grigio chilled


  • Purée strawberries, simple syrup, Limoncello and lemon juice in a blender until smooth. Chill for 30 minutes. Process in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions and then chill for at least a half hour in the freezer.
  • Spoon 2 scoops into champagne or rocks glasses and top with chilled Prosecco. Garnish with a strawberry and serve immediately with straws. Freeze any remaining sorbet.


Want a Mocktail? So easy, just use some Sparkling water instead. I would go for a flavored one with lemon, lime or strawberry!
